Masquerade ball (Open to all)

It was October the 14th and that meant it was time for the Masquerade ball and Lulu was excited! In the large backward Lulu had a buffet table of all kinds of food from veggies and cheese to pies and cookies. There where cookies shaped like pumpkins, witches hats and ghosts. Pies that where made perfectly, chocolate dipped strawberries and baked chicken and some turkey and if any didn't like meat a pure veggie platter and fruit platter. She had a table next to it for people to eat. Along the pillars and around the tree trunks where orange and white lights giving the evening a lovely glow once the lights where down though it was only 2:30. She was in a white floor length dress that hugged her body a bit tighter due to her four month pregnant belly. Her hair was down in loose curls with a white mask over her face that brought out her chocolate brown eyes. She moved outside and pressed play on the fun dance party songs. The first one was She Wolf, since the only ones here at the moment were lycans and Lulu loved that song. She smiled as she took a chocolate covered strawberry and took a bit leaving the back door wide open. So she could hear a knock when people began coming. She knew other would, she got quite a few R.S.V.Ps and any moment they would start showing up.

Jace walked down the stairs and looked around for Lulu. Excited about this ball they were having. Luckily they had a large ballroom near the back of the house. They had cleaned it up, decorated, and opened it up for the event. He smiled a bit as he fought the tuxedo he had bought. All he had told Lulu was he bought a tuxedo. He hoped she would enjoy the surprise that he matched it with her dress. He even bought a white mask. He wanted her to feel uber special and happy. Heading downstairs he walked towards Lulu and wrapped his arms around her. Kissing her lightly.

Sol had came out with Jace he adjusted the silk red tie that Jace helped tie seen that he never had one yet along tied one before. He let out a small growl, he couldn't understand why in the hell was doing this he would most likely be the only guy there without a date but a promise was a promise and he had to keep his end for min min. He watched as Jace went down the stairs to see and love on his girl. He closed his silver blue eyes and smirk as he put his left hand into his pocket and walked down the stairs and walked over to the wall. It was nice he had to say to be part of something again He put on his black and red mask it looked little girly but that was okay it was specially made for him after all. Crystal was upset that she couldn't go to the party and sol hated to see her in tears so he made her a deal, if she was good for mommy and daddy and did what they say for they night and such and let the grown ups have there party she can help him dress up and decorate his mask (that was pure black at first) min min had talked her out of putting the S for the superman symbol on it which he had to say as well he was thankful for. He was kinda hoping that he would be left alone just to wonder around by the simple fact that he didn't know how to dance. He let out a sigh and walked over to lulu and looked at her "Don't you look fancy today." he said trying to praise her "You guys didn't do a bad job at all." he siad as he try to readjust his tie that was ticking him off it felt like someone was choking him and if truth be told he couldn't wait til he could loosen it and unbotton the jacket and the shirt a bit he really hated tight cloths.

Holly has on her blue dress with her half blue and half silver mask with a butterfly on it. She fixed it and looked in the mirror letting out a light low whimper, she was nervous..very nervous. She bit her bottom lip and walked out of the door and down the stairs. She paused at the patio door seeing the decorations and the few already outside. She peeked her head out before she walked out her blue dress following her every movement just perfectly. Her dress was strapless and looked stunning on her. She walked passed the buffet table and over to Sol, Jace and Lulu and she smiled looking at her sister, "It looks lovely out here." She said and looked at Jace, "Hello." She said then looked over at Sol and smiled, "Hello." She said once again hoping they got a few more people.

Taylor was oh so excited to be invited to the pack's event! She smiled happily curling her hair and pushed her blonde hair over her shoulder. She smiled and pulled over her black and white dress and put her her back and white dress. She smiled and touched each white flower and ran her fingers down on the hanging streamers and she smiled. She put her her lipstick and put lip-gloss over her lips and walked down the stairs quickly, but still gracefully. She walked outside and over to the porch and stopped taking in the surroundings. She stopped the four others and hurried over and looked at Lulu and Jace and smiled, "Oh you two look so adorable! " She said with a smile and looked over at Holly, "You looked beautiful Miss Holly." She said with a smile and looked at Sol and flashed him a sweet smile, "Hello Sol!" She said looking at his outfit, "I like your outfit, you look handsome." She said with a smile and looked at her dress, they where almost matching except she was white and black, not red and black.

NIkoa led his party of four towards the pack house. He had received the letter and invited Brylthe to come with him. He had only met Lulu once so it had been a surprise to receive the letter. Nii and Zeke with him. Nii sticking close to Brylthe. He carried his little Zeke who hed dressed in a kids tuxedo and helped Nii into a dress. The children seemed to be just as excited as he was. He was excited to dance with Brylthe. Especially if she danced like she did when he had caught glimpses of her training. Something he didn't quite understand why she did so much. He walked up to the backdoor and saw all the people who had gathered. Smiling at Lulu. "Thank you again for inviting us Ms. Lulu. It looks like it is going to be a wonderful ball." He set Zeke on his feet. "This is Brylthe. This little guy is Zeke. And the little girl is a friend of ours girl named Nii." He Looked at himself. Hoping he didn't look like a stuffed sausage. He kinda felt like one.

Taylor put Crystal to bed early so that Holly and he could dance. The ball was going to be his first time dressing up in like...a long time. Since Jace got married a few months back. He hated to wear shirts but when Holly bought him a tuxedo vest and black pants he promised to wear them. He just couldn't bring himself to wear the vest closed though. It was suffocating. When Holly said that was fine he had been relieved. Yet if she had asked him to wear it shut he would have done his best to do so because he loved making her happy. Making her happy made him happy. He loved that woman with every fiber of his being. He headed downstairs and walked up to Holly. Nuzzling her a bit. Then stood beside her. "Hello everyone." He looked at Holly. Playing with the white bow tie. "Holly...do I look as ridiculous as I feel? I look okay right?" He asked. Straightening out his open vest so it looked more...respectable.

Ruby was there, though she was hiding in the bushes in her wolf form. Her back tail was tucked next to her and she was fully hidden by the bush so nobody would see her unless properly looking, she didn't do dress up parties, she didn't like dressing up like a barbie doll, but since she was a member of the pack she was dressed in a short greed low-cut dress with a green and gold mask. So if she shifted she'd be dressed alright but she wasn't really planning on it, she really wanted to stay in wolf form and stay hidden for the rest of the night and just watch over the pack and the friends, so if trouble appeared she'd be ready. She shifted a little blinking her story blue eyes and let out a huff watching the ladies in their dresses and the men in their tuxs.

Lukas had gotten dressed in the ONLY tuxedo set he owned, dress shoes and all, earlier this day. He adjusted his bow tie before picking up his pregnant mate and carrying her all the way here from the spa. He carried her like a beautiful woman he had just married or like a princess whose glass slipper had gone missing. She was beautiful today. He really loved what she was dressed in. He nuzzled his mate even as they got closer to the pack house. Kissing her cheeks. "You look divine beautiful." He said softly. Stroking her arm lightly with his thumb. He only set her on her feet when they were at the back door. Adjusting his mask which had moved around when he kept nuzzling her. He looked at the all. Thumbs upping everyone. "Hello everyone." He said with a smile. Laughing a bit. Holding Rosalie to him.

Peter was also dressed for this party. This ball that they were in. He didn't want to dance alone so was planning on only shifting to human once he got Ruby to agree to dance with him. He was in his wolf form. Sniffing around for Ruby in the shadows. Wondering where she had vanished to. His tail wagging as he spotted her hiding. Crawling across the ground on his tummy to her in slow motion. It was made easier by the fact he made no sounds to sneak up and get up against her. Nuzzling her and licked her muzzle lightly. Come to the party with me. He said to her mind. Nuzzling her. Giving her puppy dog eyes as he looked into her. Please...dance with me tonight?

Taking pride in how she looked was one thing that Rosalie could do, some called her vain, other pig-headed and some narcissistic but when you where praised all the time on how you looked from two until well, she was changed it stuck with you. She was in her silk robe as she pulled her hair up half way and straitened it all which took about and hour. Next she took off her robe and put on her maternity dress, she looked in the mirror and smiled looking at how she looked in it and how it snuggled her belly. Since it was a maternity dress it supported her belly while still looking quite elegant. She smiled happily and put on her flats then her red lipstick. Once she was done reapplying her mascara she made it down the stairs and leaned against the railing on the bottom step, waiting for Lukas as she felt a few kicking motions which made her smile even more. She opened her purse to check a few things before she was picked up which caught her off guard. A light growl left her lips before she looked to see Lukas and smiled, he said he'd carry her even though she could walk, she argued that walking was good for her and babies but he ignored her and picked her up. She smiled hearing the compliment, she looked at him with a smile and kissed he cheek before she was put down. Pulling her mask out of her purse she put it on before lightly rubbing her belly taking Lukas's hand as they began to mingle. She smiled before looking at them all and waved, "Hello." She said before she was pulling into Lukas and smiled looking up at him.

Walking into the pack house it was just so different. though she had set her cloak down somewhere. She fiddled with her hair that was partially braided and put behind her loosely. Her lightly curled hair draped down her back as she stood near a wall alone, she was not used to being near many people. Felix was coming soon and she wanted to wait for him. The dress she was wearing was once her mother's. Elliene had found it in a store, and the only reason she knew it was her mother's was that she had seen her father putting it there several years ago so she bought it. Though as she stood there she couldn't help but feel... awkward. She was a Vampire in the Wolf territory. She felt out numbered and not very happy, soon as Felix got there she'd feel better because he was there. Well there was another partial vampire smell but she was the only actual Vampire there. Sighing she fiddled with her mask and sat down. Feeling weird even though she knew Lulu, it was still weird being the only full vampire.

Felix told Elliene to go ahead without him because he was having a hard time getting dressed. He had never worn one of these things before. He was perplexed and confused about how to put various things on. Soon though he was finally dressed. His collar sticking up but maybe Elliene would fix that for him because he didn't notice. He did the numerous flits it took to get here. His pouch of magic dust on his hip. He reached into it and put the dust in the air. Moving it around to greet everyone. ~Good evening Lulu. Good evening everyone.~ He then looked around for Elliene. Hurrying over to Elliene when he spotted her. Because of their blood bond Elliene would hear his voice in her head like soft words whispered into ones ear. Hello Elliene. I'm sorry I took so long. I haven't worn suits before. I feel like a sausage.

She moved to stand up with Jace came out and nuzzled him before looking at him, "You look very handsome!"She said with a smile and kissed him back before hearing someone else and smiled turning to Sol, "Thank you Sol, you look very nice." She said with a smile and looked to see Holly and Taylor. She looked around catching the scent of Ruby and looked around excited the girl came to the party. She smiled happily as Nikoa walked up and she smiled, "Hello. Thanks for coming." She said and looked at the others, "Hello to you all, please have fun." She said with a smile and caught a scent of Lukas and Rosalie, "Please excuse me." She said and moved over to Lukas and Rosalie, "I'm glad you both could come. You both look wonderful." She said and looked at Rosalie's belly and put her hands her stomach and her eyes light up, "Oh Rosalie, they are moving! That must be a wonderful feeling." She said with a smile and put her hand on her own stomach as she caught the scents of vampires and smiled knowing who they where before she smiled happily and "Ellie! Felix you came!" She said with a smile and rushed over to hug them both, "I'm so glad you both made it!" She said with a smile. Oh this was turning out to be wonderfully! "Everyone can mingle and eat some of our yummy food....a few more may be coming." She said with a smile as the song changed to a happy fast song.

Brylthe walked in with Nikoa, he was hold his baby dragon Zeke and she had a little phoenix girl name Nii by the hand it was so cute how Zeke had got Nikoa to ask Nii to go with him to the dance. The vampire smiled at the pregnant she wolf they called lulu, "Yes, thank you lady Lulu for letting us in your home." she siad she really wanted to get on the dance floor that was the one thing she loves to do was dance she looked over at him and saw him looking at himself she put her hand to her mouth and let out a small giggle he looked like he was so uncomfortable in matter of fact most of them men here did. To her it was little funny she was used to balls and gathering like these so dressing up and such wasn't a problem for her. She took Nikoa hand "You look handsome as well as Zeke." she said o Nikoa and Zeke she smiled at lulu and bend down and told Nii she should go hold zekes hand.

Zeke hold on to nikoa neck, when Nikoa put him down zeke stood and held hide behind nikoa he wasn't used to being around so many people. He was used to being alone with his mom and such that and he wasn't used to wear a suit, he looked up at nikoa with his grey eyes asking him if he really had to where this he felt like a barbie doll, His black and white hair pulled back into a pony tail and brylthe had braided it for him. He had asked Nikoa to asked nii if she wanted to come and he was happy she said yes but he was no good if he didn't talk to her or anything and he was kinda hoping that she would want to dance seeing that he didn't really know how to dance and he didn't want to embress himself in front of Nii and the others.

Jace nuzzled her more. A hand going to rub his mate and wife's belly. Feeling for movement of the babies. Sometimes there was sometimes there wasn't. He liked to think that they talked to each other in there. The babies. It was amazing. He had heard that it was possible for twins to communicate so it wouldn't be too far fetched to think that included while they were developing in the womb. He looked at Sol and smirked. Dude looked uncomfortable. This might not be his usual ware but he wasn't as uncomfortable as his best friend. He looked around. "I think her and Peter are hiding. I wonder why..." He said softly in puzzlement. Looking at Rosalie and Lukas. Following Lulu and smiled. "Hello goofball." That was how he always greeted Lukas as he tended to well...be a goofball. He looked at Rosalie. "Welcome Miss Rosalie. I hope you have fun. If you get tired don't forget to rest." He said warmly. He watched Lulu put her hands on Rosalie's tummy. He couldn't wait until their twins moved around all the time like Rosalie's triplets did. He couldn't imagine how she felt carrying three babies. It was hard to imagine how Lulu felt carrying two. He waved to Elliene and Felix. "Welcome you two." They were friends of Lulu's. He followed Lulu amazed the pregnant woman could walk so fast. He looked at Lulu. "Next slow song would you honor me with a dance my beautiful wife?" He asked softly.

Nii walked holding Brylthe's hand. She shied behind Brylthe when she saw Lulu. "The pretty lady in white is she nice?" She asked shyly. Her eyes wide and filled with wonder. Her very way of talking showed mental retardation. The way the words came out when she spoke. It was like a two year old learning to talk. The words a bit strained and odd sounding. She still held Brylthe's hand. She looked at Zeke and giggled. She didn't like her dress anymore than he liked his child's tuxedo. Nii quickly let go of Brylthe's hand and took ahold of Zeke's they were the same height. She looked at him with a small smile. He looked really handsome. She looked at Nikoa then back to Zeke. "Thank yous for asking me Zeke." She said shyly. Shifting adorably around. She was five, just a year older than him, yet mentally she was like a two or three year old. Closer to two. She looked at Lulu and waved shyly.

Sol caught the scent of his angel and looked and saw Taylor and he loosen his tie "At least one of does I feel to much like a penguin in this outfit."He said as he attempted to make the suit more comfortable. He let out a sigh thanks to the near death experance he had between spectre and Jasel he seem to be trying just to live a little more, he still had a lot of damage done to him and was still recovering even though Hero feathers was helping a lot with his shattered right shoulder, as well as Lulu pain meds. she gave him so he could breath with out feeling sharp pain. He looked at Taylor and then went to looked at Jace to aske for help but he had disappeared leaning him with taylor the guy could take on two power house bearly survive and act like it was a no big deal but talking to Taylor now why to him he would rather take on jasel and spectre again then to be left alone with her and make a fool of himself in front of her. Reika walked into the house alone, her sapphire blue eyes darting from one spot to another nervously. This was unlike her, to be at such a fancy occasion; however, she needed some way to fit in around here. Having a bit of fun every now and then was good for someone like her. Besides, it would help her clear her mind. She fingers her long black dress as she walks forward, avoiding areas of the home that were overly crowded. Everyone seemed to be having such a fun time, talking happily amongst themselves; she could hear each conversation, all of them muddled together... something she wished she could just ignored and block out. 'I shouldn't be here... there's still a chance to leave before anyone sees me. I won't be missed.' However, as crowded and nerve-wracking as this party was for her, it was also a chance for her to meet some people. Not that she had any intention of getting to know everyone, but having a few who could show her around for a bit may prove useful for her. How long would she stay here? Two years? Five perhaps? Who knows. But why not enjoy what little fun she could while it lasts? Reika sits down on one of the benches after a little bit of wandering, sensing the presence of many beings around her. Mostly werewolves, she realized... not that it bothered her too much. She was more concerned about there being any other vampires.

Elliene was trying not to be shy but it was hard not to. She only knew Lulu and Jace. Just as she stood there though the girl looked down, keeping her orange eyes downcast. Felix was taking a long time to get there, all due to him not being used to wearing a tuxedo. If her father had seen that he would have instantly been watchful of Felix, to him a man who couldn't dress fancy or "proper" was not fit to be near his family. Sighing she ran a hand through her dark strands before glancing up to see her boyfriend coming over to her. His collar was messed up and she shook her head smiling. Hearing the whisper her smile brightened and she hugged him, "It's fine. You look good - here." she then fixed his collar and smiled before turning her head to look at Lulu. Elliene giggled as she was hugged and held Felix by the hand, "I am too - he was kind of hard to get out of the house but... we made it." She smiled and pulled close to Felix. His voice, even if it was softer, was still good to hear. It made her feel so good inside.

Reika looked around at the crowded room, all the smiling faces. There was an array if colors, from black to white, dresses, suits and masks of all simplicity or complication. She, in her dull black gown and red and white mask, felt plain and dull in comparison. But it was all she had really, she couldn't risk taking too much with her from place to place as she traveled. Getting to her feet, she decided she would get something to drink and eat. Even with her thirst for blood, as she was a vampire whether she liked it or not, she still could act like a normal human being. A normal life was all she wanted, none of this vampire mess she'd been stuck in for almost a century and a half. Reika avoided the crowds as she walked over to the covered with drinks and foods of many kinds. The chocolate covered strawberries looked delicious. She picked one up and bit into it. Chocolate was a rare treat for her, as she rarely got the chance to be out and about. Perhaps this night would be alright after all. What could go wrong?

She shifted a bit laying her head on her paws watching more and more people show up, one that stood out to her was Rosalie, she was very pregnant but damn did she look gorgeous. She looked over at Peter as he joined her in the bush. She grunted and growled a little, 'Peter, you know that I don't do parties. I don't do dancing....and I like my bush.' She said closing her wolf eyes huffing a little before turning her head back to the people and growled as vampires appeared. Three where their....that was three to many for her. Her ears laid against her head, 'Leeches...I hate leeches.' She said growling. She was just glad it wasn't that one that kidnapped her, hurt Lulu and raped Starr...or she'd kill him. She watched Lulu before feeling the nuzzle and looked at Peter and sighed, 'Fine. I'll go to the party.' She said backing out of the bush and shook her fur clean before shifting revealing a rather low-cut green dress that was short and a mask to match. She pushed her hair out of her face and smiled a little at him, "Well?" She asked taking his hand into hers.

The young she wolf smiled at the child and waved back nodding to Jace, "That sounds amazing." She smiled at Rosalie and hugged her before catching a scent she never caught before...a vampire scent. That made her a bit uneasy but all were welcome. She looked over at the food table and found the source of the scent. She smiled and squeezed Jace's hand. Walking over to the new vampire she smiled to her and picked up a chocolate covered strawberry. "Hello. I'm Lulu Spencer." She said with a smiled, "Welcome to our party I hope you enjoy yourself." She said with a smile. She took a bite of her strawberry and looked over to see that Peter got Ruby to come out from the bush and just smiled. She heard the song change from a fast one to a slower song and looked around for Jace so they could dance.

Felix wouldn't have cared what her father thought of him. He might have even punched him in the nose or jaw for what he did to Elliene. For what he let her uncle do to her. He looked at her and made a face. Then smiled at her. Thank you. I feel like I look out of place. Again only his blood bond would hear his voice. He let her fix the collar. He looked to Lulu and nodded his head. He hated the way he looked. He wasn't even sure his lack of fashion sense wasn't showing. He waved at lulu before he then looked to the side as he smelled another vampire. He moved the dust around and weaved it around people. Pulling Elliene with him by the hand. He walked to the young vampire and moved the dust around. ~I'm Felix. This is my girlfriend Elliene. Welcome to the party.~ The dust would speak for him. It could be "felt" just in case she was blind.
