Background: He is of Greek and Italian Descent.
Growing up his best friend was Aeris. He was closer to her than even her brother Kai. She had an abusive father and tried to hide it well. Since they were always together he knew the truth behind the bruises and scars. Growing up he stood up for her and protected her as best a kid could. This resulted in him taking some of the beatings meant for her. Which meant he often lied and told his mother he got into fights. Thus going to bed without supper or without dessert. He would often let Aeris drink from him when that craving for blood got too strong for her. He didn't mind that she was half vampire. She was his best friend and that was all that ever mattered. She vanished without a word when she turned eighteen.
After a couple weeks of dead end searching he decided to go home to Greece to see his grandparents on his father's side. He left there and started searching for her again when he was twenty. He has been searching for her for three years straight. Hoping to come across his best friend once more.
