WEAKNESSES: Guns. He hates them. Children are his other great weakness. Subtle clues have been dropped that Eliot was probably abused as a child. He does not handle situations involving children well. He will protect the children, but show no mercy to the adults who take advantage of the little ones.
Special skills/traits: Aside from his more supernatural skills, Kaiis in excellent physical condition and is an exceptional fighter with or without the use of his eyes. Whether as a result of his Lycan heritage or simple training, Kai is stronger, faster, more agile, tougher, more resistant to damage and injury, possessing more acute senses, immense stamina, and superior healing when compared to most of his race; he is shown on more than one occasion dislocating his limbs for brief moments with only slight signs of discomfort. In general, Kai possesses an abnormally high threshold of pain and psychologically channels what pain he does feel into anger.
In addition to raw analytical power, Kai is generally an astute judge of character, especially in the dark side of human nature.
Kai is well trained with any kind of weapon that he can get his hands on, but his weapon of choice is undoubtedly a knife. Silent, quick, and deadly. However, Kai's most famous weapons are surely a pair of Ulak blades

backround: Kai's early history is largely unknown. His keen sensitivity toward an abused child leads itself to an abusive childhood. His father was likely very controlling, possibly a drunk, definitely violent toward his wife and children. Kai has a older sister, and he would have tried to protect any siblings he grew up with from his father's rage.
Kai went in to the military as soon as he graduated turned 16, to escape the world in which he lived. He felt he had no other viable escape. He went into the Marines, and because of his keen attention to detail and ability to learn quickly, he was soon drafted into a special ops unit where he developed a keep ear to the sound of guns, to the point he can ID a gun model based on the sound of the backfire.
Kai was captured and taken as a prisoner of war. Held for years in a tiny cell, he was tortured and abused in every way possible. He proved he had a strong constitution, suffering through the days and nights despite the bleak outlook. Thanks to the dark cells Kai eyes more sensitive to light, requiring him to wear welding goggles to protect them from bright light.
The cruelty of Kai's captors extended to forced fights between prisoners. Ksi's came to understanding of his eyes. he trained himself to fight blind during the day, so that he could identify the exact position of his opponent, and in time he proved himself to be a very capable fighter, despite his so called blindness.
Eventually the camp was raided and Kai was rescued, but by then he was so beat down he couldn't even tell his name. He was taken to a rehabilitation hospital, and sent home after months of therapy. Having nowhere to go, Kai now works as a retrieval specialist taking any job with out question from mostly anyone.
