Background: Starla was born the youngest in a line of royal dragons. She was born from a Heaven dragon mother and a Wind dragon father. Most of her siblings were born either one or the other. She was born both and trained to live in both worlds. Her mother was a beauty beyond compare in her human form though her dragon was often seen as beautiful as well. She was the favorite child even amongst the siblings. One day she was out training when the alarm in their dragon castle began going off. Running from the hills she came back to find the massive castle town castle up in flames. Horses beating away from there with all haste. Running through the flames she searching in her human form for any survivors. There was none in any of the cave houses nor the castle. Her entire home had been ransacked. Treasures stolen and dragons slain. Shells of eggs and egg goo scattered everywhere from when they had destroyed everything and everyone.
She left the city with lungs filled with smoke. Flying off into the night air in her dragon form after blessing the souls of her kin and city to the afterlife. That drained her and soon she plummeted into the plush hills below. Laying there coughing out smoke as her mind drifted into silence. Hours upon hours later she would awaken in her human form. Covered in smoke and remembering the loss of her entire town and life. Everything was gone.
She washed in a river and headed off on her own. Just fourteen by human years. She came to a town and stayed there for a while. She was nursing her emotional wounds. Years would pass and she continued traveling. She had never stopped to make friends. Still trying to avoid the fact she had no one. Until one day she found the people who destroyed her life and defeated them. Once she had done this she felt whole. Now she was just trying to find a place to start a new life. Armed with just her sword which she carried when in dragon form in just her back claws. She now just sought for a place to rest.
