Background: Wasahpe was born into a family of werebears, his father was a large black bear while his mother was a Kermode Bear, a spirit bear. His father was abusive to him and his mother. At the age of two his father smacked him across the face with his claw causing his blindness. After he lost his sight he clung to his mother, WhiteFeather, hardly ever leaving her side. She would take him to a vampire who left out meat for her and her son, he was a hunter of animal blood so he gave them the meat. The Vampire was like a father he never fully knew. After he turned five his father was murdered by the Vampire and his companion which in turn freed him and his mother of the pain. WhiteFeather then began to live with the Vampire and his companion till Wasahpe was about fourteen. He was taught everything he needed to live while being blind as well as how to play the flute.
As he learned to play the flute one day a rather bulbous wolf-like pup followed the noise, soon winding up at his feet. It's front paw was injured and that made Cub sad, he took up the little animal and raised it. Later learning it was not a wolf it was more like a bear mixed with a wolf. He asked his mother to name it and she named it Raven for him. Raven never left his side even the day WhiteFeather died, it never abandoned him. Soon as she died he ran away from the Vampire's home, never to be seen again. He and Raven live in the woods together, never near anyone. He is scared to meet new people but he is willing to meet others. Hopefully one day to have someone he could care for and protect but he also wants a friend. Wasahpe made his way to the new town but he wont venture further than the beach. He prefers to be in the woods till he is comfortable with this new area.
Till then he hopes to be alone, gathering friends, and maybe one day a companion.
