Singing Falls a Weeping Lupe

Soft shuffling and twigs snapping sounded through the dawn, the ground was wet from dew making it harder to navigate for the black wolf. Its eyes were grey and it didn't look like it was well. It had been wondering for weeks looking for the town of rumor and now it was lost. Pausing in its walk the wolf lifted its head and let out a long howl, an eerie sound of a supernatural cry. It was drawn out and twisted to make it sound unnatural but in a way beautiful.

Lowering its head it wobbled before trudging on, forcing itself to walk more. The wolf's paws were cut up, sore, with caked on dried blood. Since she ran away she had been in wolf form and was walking non stop, looking for a home. She was tired, alone and her sight decided to leave her again. It left the night before and it made it hard for her to walk around.

It was why her paws were so beat up, she walked further and soon heard falling water. Pausing she shifted to her human form and stumbled towards the sound. Tears streaming down her face, her hands were cut up and arms bruised even her legs and feet.She stumbled into the water on accident and fell over with a cry. Swimming to the top again she pulled onto the bank and laid there, tear falling down her cheeks as she curled up. Her dress and robe were soaked. Shifting into a wolf again she laid there whimpering.

Why.... I am cursed and blind... I can't live alone... I just want a family again...

She rolled and laid on her belly with her head craned to the wide, her black tail curled up over her nose as she whimpered. The water had been chilling and she was already sick, the sun was quickly drying her but she was tired. Millena's eyes closed and she quickly fell asleep. Her wolfen body ached and the sound of the falls made her feel better but still, she was hurting. Her face still ached from the blow that nearly took her sight. Hopefully soon she could find a pack who would take her in.

Lulu was making a small patrol around her pack lands, soon she wouldn't be able to do this, but at the moment she could so she was out patrolling her pack lands, making sure her land was safe. Nearing the singing falls she froze hearing a howl, and not one from her family. The Lupa felt her inner wolf awaken and want out causing her small body to shake trying not to shift. As she walked she ran a hand through her honey blonde hair before her hand fell to her small baby bump. She heard a splash and looked toward the sound expecting to see frogs, deer or fish frolicking in the cold and crisp water, however she watched a wolf come out of the water. She let out a soft breath. She looked around taking in a breath trying to sense if she was a lone wolf or just separated from her pack. She didn't catch the scent of others and being a lycan andpregnant nothing could get past Lulu. She moved let down the river a little to the stepping stones and carefully walked across the river and slowly up to the wolf. Lulu was barefoot, so the walking was silent the only sound was the jingling of the anklet that hung loosely around her right ankle. She stopped a safe distance away and watched the wolf sleep, "Hello there." She called in a sweet, even and light tone so she didn't scare the girl too much.

Laying on her belly, sleeping was about the only thing she had left for herself. She slept quietly and whimpered before her ears twitched. A jingle, a little persistent jingle made her eyes open a little and whimper more. Soon under that tone she hear what she hated, footsteps... but this was soft. Bumpy and well, slightly rocked. It stopped and she continued listening. A voice came; soft, gentle, a true motherly tone made her head lift and turn. She stood and stretched before twisting her head back and forth in light twisting turns. Mellina's ears twitched and she lowered her head ears flat and tail dragging on the ground. Her wolf was about the size of a Canadian wolf but as a human she was thin and not as muscled.

Whimpering she lifted a paw and patted it on the ground before making her way over to the voice, she heard it and could tell where it was. Each step was patted out as she made her way slowly to Lulu. Though each step brought out frost in paw print shapes, it was unintentional but she was scared and she didn't know who the voice came from. Pausing she sniffed the feet of Lulu before brushing her nose softly on the female, she sat on her haunches and kept her head low. Millena could smell the wolf in Lulu, it was strong like she was a leader. The wolf respected that, as she had a long time before when she had lived in her other pack.

Her ears flattened and she lifted her head to stare blankly. Her sight still clouded over making her seem more like a dark spirit but she wasn't. She was lost, alone, without anyone to help her. She let out a little whimper and nudged Lulu softly again. Trying to show she didn't want harm, she just wanted kindness and she would return it.

She brushed her hand against her belly watching the wolf slowly come to her and she just smiled. Once she felt the nuzzling Lulu got down on her knees and reached out petting her head gently, if she wasn't pregnant she would have already shifted to speak to her in wolven tongue, but since she was she couldn't and since she wasn't pack she couldn't hear her thoughts. She looked at her as she continued petting her head, she pulled out some beef jerky out of her back pocket and put it under her nose if she was hungry, "Where is your pack? Do you have one?" She asked moving to sit with her legs crossed and patted her head lightly again, this poor wolf she looked like had been through hell and back and Lulu really wanted to help her, to show her there were still nice and caring people in the world.

Despite being in wolfen form Millena didn't take after the legendary wild minded dogs her people said they had been. None of their wild killer side was real, they were gentle save for the ones who lived too far for her to know of. The wolf lifted her head to the movement, soft shuffling of fabric meant that the female moved. Soon she felt a pat and she twitched a little but soon closed her eyes and lowered her eyes as she felt the soft soothing petting motions. The touch was soft, gentle, something that she missed. Millena whimpered a little and soon smelled dried meat, it brought childhood memories of drying fish and venison back to her and she sniffed it. It took a moment and she nudged it before taking it into her mouth and laid her head and upper body down.

The jerky rested between her front paws as she gnawed on the meat, it was slow because she didn't want the jerky to leave her mouth. Though it did and she sighed moving her head to rest in Lulu's lap before lifting it and shaking her heavy head "no". She sat up again and shifted back, shivering still from being wet. Her eyes still grey, "I lost my pack... when I was... I don't remember it well, I just remember being small when it happened. Thank you for the jerky... I haven't had that in years." she rubbed her right eye as it tingled and soon the vision white noised and it came back, only one eye could see though. Her icy blue eye stared absently as she thought of her family.

She stopped petting her head when Lulu watched her shift as Lulu careful pushed herself up off the ground dusting off the leave and grass that was attached to her clothing. She smiled as she thanked her, "You're welcome, I have been craving that lately so I have some on me...well until my next craving comes.. What is your name? I'm Lulu. Also if you are looking for a pack you can be a part of mine. I'm the Lupa of the Silver Moon Pack, and Jace is the Ulfric. We accept all wolves." She noticed the shiver, "Would you like to go to the house? You look cold." She asked, she needed to be getting back anyway......her pack was probably already worried with he being gone like she was even though she left a note. She ran another hand threw her honey blonde hair and smiled brightly to the female, "I can make you something warm to eat and give you a safe place to sleep." She said, "You don't have to decide to join now, but I still would like to feed you and give you a place to sleep." She said. These lands belonged to her pack, and she was on of the leaders so she always showed kindness and compassion. If she didn't who would?

Jace was out looking for Lulu. She seemed to always forget to be taking it easy. He loved her but damn was she one strong headed stubborn lady. He needed her to rest for their pups but she was always so active. He might be being a bit over protective but it was just how he was. He loved her deeply and she meant the world to him. He blinked as he heard his name. Walking in that direction. "What did I do?" He asked in confusion. Kissing Lulu and nuzzled her. "Shouldn't you be resting my love? You do too much."

Looking to the female Lupe the girl saw her stand in partial vision, she stood too hugging herself. He head lowered as she kept her stare on the ground before looking to her slightly. So this girl, no woman, was the leader? Or one of the leaders? She was confused as to what an Ulfric was but she sighed, "I am Millena RavenFeather... the last of the Dusk Indians..."

She looked away before she smelled a strange smell but ignored it and crouched down as she began to play with twigs, "I'd like to sleep... to eat something other than berries... I'll think on your offer but I am not ready to join anyone's pack after mine was taken and destroyed.... I do want a pack but... I am getting used to being free from living in abuse..."

Blinking and whimpering she stood up picking a long stick and brandished it like a weapon backing up when she saw the male. She was scared, all that pain in her soul from the memories she did not recognize but knew still hurt her. Though Lulu seemed to know him but she was scared even though, "Who are you?" she asked him with a whimper.

She listened to her and nodded, "Well you are welcome to follow me back to the pack house for a warm meal to eat and a nice place to sleep, and think on the offer for as long as you wish, it will not go away." She smiled and looked behind her as the scent of her mate caught her attention and she smiled seeing him and nuzzled him back and returned the kiss then took hid hand and laced her fingers with his, "I am but some exercise is good for me. I was just patrolling the pack lands.This is Millena, she is without a pack and I was telling her that you and I both are the leaders of the Silver Moon Pack." She said and watched as Millena got real scared. She stepped in front of Jace just a little still holding his hand and smiled kindly, "Millena this is my mate Jace. He won't hurt you. He and I run the pack I was telling you about. Jace would never hurt you. I promise, can I please have to stick?" She asked holding out her hand, she wasn't sure if it would work but Jace wouldn't ever hurt a rouge or a member unless the showed to be a threat and this girl wasn't a threat.
